In this project, we were inspired to use inks, charcoal or other messy materials in a loose and free style. I focused heavily on ink combined with random objects with a variety of textures and really just tried to be experimental in my techniques. These objects included pine cones, sponges, thistles, tooth brushes, fabrics and cocktail sticks.
This piece is what i would consider my final piece as I combined many of the techniques I learnt from doing my previous samples. I used primarily charcoal and Biro for it and based it off a photograph of me with a weird filter on. This gave a nice effect and gave me more to be creative with as I was able to forget about any realism and have fun with the piece. The use of the filter also fed into our next project; the Dysmorphia project.
